I have recently just finished reading the book Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard. In this blog post I will share with you what I thought about the ending. . I’m sharing this with you because the ending of a book is usually the most important part of the whole story. Don’t worry, I won’t give the ending away!

At the end of Pretty Little Liars the conflict is clearly not resolved. Actually I think the conflict just got worse but that’s what makes the book seem different from other books I have read in the past. When the conflict wasn’t solved by the end it really makes you want to figure out how it does end. And it seems like there are a lot more details to find out later in the series that will help figure out how the conflict is solved. That means you would have to read the whole series to figure it out.

Since the conflict wasn’t solved at the end then the ending really wasn’t fairly achieved. It is actually far from being fairly achieved. I think they should have told more at the end instead of making more things happen. But, I do think the ending of the book was appropriate for this book because it just made the whole story more interesting. It makes you feel like the whole story just took a big twist. What makes the book different is that a lot of twists happen throughout the book. Also, I really don’t think that the book was big enough to have all of the details for the conflict to be solved by the end of it. Then it would have taken a lot longer to read and a lot more to remember throughout the story.

I am reading the book Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard. In this blog post I will be sharing with you about what I think the title of the book means.

I think the title of my book could represent a person or more than one person and tells some characteristics of those people or person. I think that because a Pretty Little Liar to me means a girl who is pretty and she lies a lot. Also she could be little as in small, skinny, or short. But, since liars has an s at the end then that means there is probably more than one girl who is pretty and lies a lot. The significance of the title is that it explains the lead characters in the book. They are girls who are explained as pretty, they do tell lies very often, and they don’t really seem to keep secrets very well either. It makes them seem more realistic when you know what they are like from reading the title instead of not knowing before you read the book. The ways I understood the book better from the title because when you read most of the book you understand more of why that’s the title of the book. Another way is that you understand the characters better also from the title and you can relate the title to what happens in the book. Also, the title kind of shows you who some people really are and that it’s hard to trust someone for certain reasons.

What I learned about eating!

While doing some research of what I eat on a regular day is kind of good for me but yet some of it isn’t. After realizing what I’m really eating, it makes me want to eat a lot healthier. That would be a good change for the whole world also. I compared what I ate on a regular day to a Nutritional Recommendation Chart from Baylor College of Medicine.  I really wasn’t too far from what it said I should be consuming regularly. That made me happy to know that I eat pretty healthy every once in a while. Also, I learned more about how to read labels on food items. Now I know that how many calories in some foods are okay to get if their normal. And I learned that I should limit some nutrients, like cholesterol, sodium, and fats. Those things really aren’t good for your body. I think this really showed me what I’m putting in my body and that I should be a little bit more conscious with what I eat. Also, I have gotten my family to start looking at the nutritional facts on the foods that we get because my mom really never started looking at them until I showed her.  I like sharing with my family what I have learned from this because it could make my whole family healthier. Finally, what I learned the most is that nutrition is important in everyone’s life and that we should not take advantage of the bad foods.

February!

I feel a lot more confident then I did at the beginning of the year about the technology of a computer, writing, and reading. I feel like I have become a lot better at all those things. On computers there are always a bunch of trick keys to press to make things happen faster. I learned about those and now I know how to copy and paste easier than clicking on it and highlighting. Also, my writing has improved a lot more because recently in class we have gone over all of the parts of a sentence and the different types of sentences. I think that helped me a lot because I have forgotten about a lot of that stuff that I learned a long time ago.  And my reading has also improved greatly. I feel like I can understand a book a lot better then in the beginning of the year because I was probably just not used to it since I didn’t really read a lot of books during the summer. I just feel like I’m analyzing things better to comprehend them.
