Katniss Everdene is a great hunter; it was her passion, her job, and above all her family’s lifeline. She lived in District twelve where hunting is illegal and considered poaching. Katniss hunted everyday though, because she had such a joy for it and she would have eventually been caught and whipped and would have never been able to hunt again; and because of that she is in a better place. She could have died in many different ways, but she died with honor in the Hunger games which, are made by our blessed government.

Katniss died while in love with Peeta, and Peeta died in love with Katniss. And I don’t think that neither Katniss nor Peeta wanted to live without the other. Katniss also died so that her sister did not have to; and if that does not show a true warrior and sister, than I don’t know what does. And Katniss, brave Katniss was the last one alive. Katniss Everdene won the Hunger games. Katniss put her life on the line constant times: for Prim, her mother, Peeta, and even Rue. Katniss, who made history at the games: “ the girl who was on fire” changed the games forever, she was the only girl who got the rules changed out of pity, won the games and then committed suicide so that she didn’t have to live without one of the other tributes. What a long, great run it’s been.
