TKAMB post one /connector.

We just began to read a book titled To Kill A Mocking Bird by: Harper Lee, and so far i am really enjoying it. For this first post i have been nominated connector so I will be going over numerous ways on how this book from chapters one through seven relate or connect to really modern life.

First this book takes place in a town called Maycomb.  The main character Jean Finch Who i will refer to  as scout starts out by going through her familes past. Which is something that in todays life people are starting to try to do more and more. scout talks to her father in the beginning to see if he knew anything about where they came from. The only thing that left from that conversation was that as far as her father could remember was that their family origonated from fur traders that eventually fled to England to escape  Religious persecution.

This book has so many different ways on how  it can connect to real life or ways it connects to modern civilization. For one  they have a structured community just like ours; they have a jail, houses, schools, dumpster. Although they’re community is much smaller than ours so its more likely  for almost everyone in the community to know eachother. This community has many different ways on how it matches our community. There are people of all different races with all different jobs. People still get disiplined, i guess thats what i like about this book, nothing is’nt realistic at this point. i can picture everything that is happening in this book i can picture it happening in my home town.
