Hypertext Report

Hypertexts are something that is becoming more and more common in present day internet. You can travel to different places in the internet world without having to type a long. Confusing URL in.  Hypertext is text displayed on a computer of other electronic.  Devices with references to other text that the reader can immediately access, usually by a mouse click or key press sequence. A hyperlink is a line of text that you click on that takes you to a new world per say. Hypertext is not linear because it Contains links. Hyper text is online while paper text is on paper. To reiterate, good hypertext writers also need to incorporate more traditional aspects of good writing: a purpose, effective organization, good transitions, support for main points, excellent control over conventions, and word choice appropriate for the audience.

Every reader reads differently which creates lots of problems. The bad things about hyper text are that if you are not someone that likes to read over the internet then you may not like it. The writer may not be able to fully grasp the attention of their reader. It is important to know the audience that will be listening to or reading your writing because you write in different ways for different audiences. When you are creating hypertexts you should know the difference in hypertexts. Style media, audio, or anything that relates to media. Hypermedia contains anything that is not words (such as pictures, audio, ECT) the direction of your reading is determined by the choices you make while reading and your path is not necessarily linear.

How can being a reader of hypertext help you be a good writer of hypertext? In other words, what can you learn by reading hypertext that will make you write it better? The kinds of Hypertext I usually read in school are how to get to our blogs. The hypertext words are Student SFSD Blogs. hypertext I think in my opinion do not go beyond words because I think people name hypertexts to correlate with what the topic is your reading about. Also we can make real world connections everyday to what we read. If you look at what different hyper texts do or say then you will be able to make your own in the same way.  You can learn a lot in hypertexts if you can only put so much information on one page. You can create hypertexts that in a sense open the page.

In conclusion, I think hypertexts can be very useful and I believe that people could learn a lot from using hypertexts. Hypertexts can be used at virtually anytime for any story you wish you get across. Hypertexts may even help better explain something you don’t fully understand. Hypertext is a very good invention because without them there would be a lot more typing to do.
