Through researching and writing about the bad of obesity in the food and culture, I learned so much about how I can change my life from my eating habits. Through all the research I learned about all the things that lead to obesity, and it’s more than just the food, it’s what we do about it. One thing we found was that more people think it is the parent’s faults then the food that we eat. I highly agree with this because it’s what our parents do while we live with them that will take us through life. If our parents make the choice to feed us unhealthy food we will think that is okay and do that through our lives, possibly pass it on to later generations. This is where obesity can start and it can be stopped. I think that if our parents teach us healthy eating habits that we will have less of a chance to have obesity ruin our life. The food though is also a major play in obesity, but we can’t help what’s in the food. We as individuals can make the choice to read the nutrition label and see what we are eating that is so bad for our bodies. Even if the food is bad we have the choice to say no to the fast food and the other unhealthy foods that are bad for us. I think that after this project I will change my life so much to a healthier way, and remember this later in life to show the generations to come that we have a choice to make our bodies and world healthier. Obesity is growing as years go by, and I think that people can make the choice to eat healthier and change their lives.
