The book I am reading is called “Pop” by Gordon Korman. I don’t think my mom would really like this book very much. The reason I think that she wouldn’t like this book is because it is about football and she doesn’t really like football. She also wouldn’t really like it because it involves someone dying in the end and that makes her kind of sad. Although, I think she might like the fierce competition between Marcus and Troy when they always argue about small little things. That is what I think my mom would think about this book.
I think that my dad would think that “Pop” is a good book and at the same time a bad book. The reason I say that is because he is not the reading type and I really never see him reading anything other than magazines. I think my dad would like the fact that the book is about football because we always watch football on Sunday. I also don’t think my dad would like how long this book is and he probably would get bored from reading this type of book where there is a competition between two people. A good thing that he might like about this book is how Troy and Marcus become good friends in the end of the book. That is what I think my dad would and would not like about this book.
The book I am reading is “Pop” by Gordon Korman. There were some things that I didn’t understand in the book. I didn’t really understand why Troy decided to quit the football team and never played again. I didn’t understand why Marcus decided to break up with Alyssa. I didn’t understand why Marcus always wanted to talk to Troy’s sister, Chelsea. At first, I didn’t understand why Marcus was always getting blamed for all of the things that kept happening to the exterminators shop because it was Charlie who always did something. I couldn’t understand why Marcus continued to hang around with Charlie at Three Alarm Park everyday because most of the time, Charlie never showed up.
I still couldn’t understand why Troy continued to be mean to Marcus all of the time because he was always beating on him for no reason. I couldn’t understand why Coach Barker decided to put his third string quarterback in instead of Marcus because Marcus is the second string quarterback. I didn’t understand why Troy started to fake his injuries so he didn’t have to play because he loves to play football. Finally, I didn’t understand why Marcus wanted to take Charlie to his Hall of Fame ceremony because his family said that they wouldn’t take Charlie. If I read all of these situations again I would probably understand them a lot more. These are all things that I didn’t understand in the book I am reading.
The book I am reading right now is Pop By Gordon Korman. At the moment, Marcus Jordan moved into a new home in a new town and he went to Three Alarm Park to play football. On the fifth day that Marcus went to the park, he met an older man. His name was Charlie Popovich and he was a former line backer in the NFL. Marcus was the starting quarterback for the junior varsity at his old school. Marcus goes to tryouts for the varsity team at his new school and he meets the starting quarterback. The starting quarterback was big and his name was Troy Popovich. Troy laughed when Marcus said that he has the ability to be the starting quarterback on the varsity team.
I think that Marcus will try to be the starting quarterback on the varsity team and he will date Troy’s ex-girlfriend. I also think that Marcus will be a starter on the junior varsity team and he will do really well. He will be moved up to the varsity team and he will become the starter with the help of Charlie Popovich. That is what I think will happen next in the story. The reason I believe this will happen is that Charlie said he would help Marcus become a better quarterback and be good enough to beat Troy Popovich.
The book I am reading is called Pop by Gordon Korman. There were a lot of things I liked and there were a lot of things that I don’t like in the book so far. I liked how the book is about football because I love football. I liked that Marcus is trying as hard as he can to become the starting quarterback on his high school team. I also liked that Charlie Popovich took some time off to help Marcus Jordan become a very good quarterback. The final thing I liked about the book was how Charlie Popovich became a good friend to Marcus.
I didn’t like how Troy thought that he was the best player in the world. I don’t like how Troy is mean to everyone that gets in his way because he got mad at Marcus Jordan one time and almost bullied him. I also didn’t like how Marcus got blamed for breaking someone’s window because Charlie Popovich threw the football and it hit the car window and Marcus got yelled at by the police. The final thing that I did not like was that Coach Barker put Marcus in at cornerback instead of quarterback in a game. This is what I have to say about the book I am reading right now.
