Everybody should read the story The Scarlet Ibis by James Hurst because of the unique bonding between the two brothers in this cruel but respectful to nature story. In the family in which the narrator comes from he is the brother to a new born name William Armstrong which he calls Doodle. From the moment when Doodle was born the narrator (whose name is never said) is disappointed in what he got as a brother. Doodle was born with many disabilities or problems that were both mental and physical. And when the brother of Doodle finds out about this he is not happy. For the reasons that the narrator did not have a normal brother he pushed Doodle into doing many cruel things to try and get him to be a normal kid when school came around. He did this because he was disappointed that he did not have a brother that he could climb trees with, run with, holding there breathe the longest and even just jumping. Even on a normal peaceful day or even a stormy day you could go down to Old Woman Swamp and find the narrator and Doodle practicing hard at trying to make Doodle a normal kid. And when Doodle’s 6th birthday comes and he shows his family that he can walk the narrator starts to cry. He is not crying because he is proud but he is crying because he knows that he did for himself so that he could have a normal brother. He knew that he was selfish. Now the narrator has to deal with the loss of his brother knowing that he did not help Doodle.

The story I can not get out of my head Is The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell. I can not get this title out of my head because of many reasons. One reason is because of the setting. In this story the setting takes place in a jungle in off of the island known as Ship-Trap Island. The setting is so unforgettable because you do not read many stories that take place in a place like this. One reason why it is unforgettable is that it describes the land and how the hunting comes into play with survival on this island. Another reason why I can not get this title out of my head is that the plot is different from many other stories. In The Most Dangerous Game the main character Rainsford gets trapped on Ship-Trap Island. He then finds another person who lives there and finds out the only way to get off the island is to beat him in hunting challenge. This plot makes you want to keep reading the story and see what happens next. Another reason why I can not get this story out of my head is that it is an exciting ending to the story. After all that is said in the story the outcome is not what you probably would think would happen. When all is said and done at the end of the story you really realize that this and exciting, survival and perfection story that makes you want to reread it over and over again.
