My passion.

Soccer, it is one of the most popular sports around the world, and it just happens to be my favorite too. Soccer has four positions that are played. The offensive position is called the striker or forward, its main job is to try on score on the other team’s goalie. The next set of players are called the midfielders and they are separated into two groups the outside wings and center midfielders, and they’re job is to help out wherever it is needed. Defense is split into three groups; there is the stopper and they play kind of with the offense and defense, then there is the sweeper and they get all of the balls that get past the front line a defense, the two outside defenders are called what the position is outside defenders and they are part of the front line trying to stop the balls at first. And the final position of soccer is my personal favorite the keeper or more times than not known as the goalie. The goalie has the most important job I think and it is to keep the opponent’s from getting the soccer ball into their goal. The most important skill you can have is dribbling while you’re playing soccer. Dribbling is key to moving the ball up the field. Soccer is played normally in two forty minute halves with three referees, two outside refs and the main one.

Internet Saftey

Posted by Samma O  Published in Assignments

For this project I worked with Dee I.

The main idea of our project was to learn more about internet safety. We learned that it is important for you to let your parents know what’s going on with you when you’re online. Most of the pieces we read told us that many kids were bullied online and that when this was going on they did not have a parent that knew about it. The author also told us that teens don’t know the real risk about being online. They don’t understand how far some people will go to get the things they want. Teens don’t know their age group is the most targeted group out there.

Another main thing that we read about was that you should always use a new password for every account you make and when you do NEVER tell anybody what it is. It’s important to keep your password to yourself because if someone gets it and goes one to your account they can say things that aren’t true about you and every one else will not only see it but they will think it’s you. They said that many hack ins happen when a person tells someone their password. They made it clear that you should change your password regularly. They also said that you should have a different password for your accounts so when someone figures one out one of your passwords; they can’t get on to all of your other accounts.
