At the beginning of the year I was pretty scared about the idea of having a blog, having to put posts on it regularly, and writing about a book that I’m reading. That whole idea scared me. Now that we have the blogs the thought of it doesn’t scare me anymore, I actually think that having a blog is fun, sort of a way to connect with the outside world. I absolutely love being able to pick out our own independent reading novel and being able to write about it and hopefully introduce the book so someone who would have otherwise never read it. I feel way more confident not only in my writing but in my reading too because I can get into a book more than I would if we had to read it.
