Some people go on vacation and do things like mountain climbing, kayaking, snorkeling (which I do think is an amazing experience), and the like. For me, the perfect spring break is a warm, sunny place where I can read. I finished The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo before I left for Florida, so I had to get a new book. I wanted the sequel to The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, but could find it neither at the airport nor at my favorite little book store in Florida. So I bought Water for Elephants and read in only four days. That meant I had to get another book. I got Little Bee, which my sister highly recommended. I am halfway through this book and I am liking it quite a bit.
What did you do on your spring break? If you read a good book, let us know about it in a comment to this post. If you did something “less fun,” like water skiing, you could let us know about that as well.
This year for spring break, my family decided to stay home. While I was home I read a book called Keeping Faith. by C.R. It is about this family whom is having many family problems from domestic to health. The grandma is suffering from stage four breast cancer and as her end comes closer, she struggles to keep her family together, but with her trying, it actually pushes them farther apart. Will the family survive through this problem before time runs out, well, you have to read to find out. A heart warming and renching book that you wont be able to set down until its over!!!!!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!
